API's and Ai love FileMaker

An Application Programming Interface or API is basically a set of rules/definitions that act as 'middle ware' to make the exchange of data between multiple applications/machines (i.e. printer) easier. We use FileMaker's Data API to connect to third party software.

Ai is short for Artificial Intelligence and refers to systems/software that exhibit intelligent behavior by analyzing their environment and - with a certain degree of independence - taking action to achieve specific goals. We can implement Ai in your workflow to further automate processes.

It is quite simple. Speed and less mistakes, that is exactly what you get while implementing API's. Example Exact Connector

The API connections we build we call 'Connectors', they are stand alone Filemaker files that can be implemented in existing FileMaker solutions or are added to our own FileMaker Framework.

To the left you see an Exact Connector. Exact is Dutch financial administration software (like Quickbooks) and in this case is LEADING over FileMaker. We transfer data from FileMaker to Exact and Exact returns us the Invoice number of the sales entry that is created!
